Vice President Product Development – Apparel & Accessories – Arkansas

A fast-growing lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Creative & Product Development to lead its design and product teams.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a passion for lifestyle products, a strong background in graphic design and product development, and proven success in driving innovation. The Vice President will play a critical role in fostering creativity, ensuring collaboration across departments, and driving the development of high-quality products that align with the brand’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:

Inspire and lead the Creative and Product Development teams, drawing on 5-10 years of leadership experience to cultivate a collaborative and results-driven environment.

  • Team Collaboration:

Build strong partnerships across departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT, to align creative initiatives with broader business goals.

  • Creative Direction:

Leverage 15+ years of experience in graphic design and product development to create innovative and impactful products, with a focus on lifestyle categories such as apparel, drinkware, headwear, and gifts.

  • Strategic Thinking:

Drive market and consumer analysis using data-driven insights, ensuring decisions are informed and aligned with future trends and growth opportunities.

  • Operational Excellence:

Manage Digital Asset Management systems, sourcing, demand planning, and financial decisions to optimize efficiency and profitability.

  • Project Management:

Oversee project timelines and deliverables, ensuring teams stay accountable and meet deadlines.

  • Mission Alignment:

Uphold and promote the company’s mission in everyday operations, fostering a culture of integrity and purpose.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

15+ years in product development and graphic design, with 5-10 years in senior leadership roles.

  • Industry Expertise:

Background in lifestyle products, including apparel, drinkware, headwear, and gifts.

  • Strategic Acumen:

Strong skills in market analysis, financial decision-making, and project management.

  • Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and inspire diverse teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • Flexibility:

Willingness to travel and work onsite at least one week per month to engage with the team and ensure alignment with company objectives.
