We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Women’s Wear Designer join our clients Private Label team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape collections that celebrate femininity and exceptional craftsmanship.
As a key member of the Design and Product Development teams, you’ll report to the VP of Design and play a pivotal role in bringing the brand’s vision to life through meticulously crafted dresses. From concept to production, you’ll ensure each piece embodies quality, style, and sophistication.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design Execution: Create CADs, sketches, line sheets, and concept boards tailored to women’s dresses.
- Product Development: Contribute to design meetings and fittings, offering expert insights on fabrics, dress construction, fit, and cost optimization.
- Sample Coordination: Prepare samples for fittings, including garment steaming, photography, and fit corrections.
- Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with vendors to communicate design and production details, troubleshooting any design or production challenges.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in apparel, textiles, or design. With a strong emphasis on dresses.
- Degree in Apparel, Textiles, or Design.
